2009/2010 Energy Tax Credit

A big source of heat loss to any home is the opening to outdoors — especially doors and windows! A major culprit of this heat loss can be the older single pane windows. Double pane windows can help greatly to reduce your energy usage.

While it may seem like you are paying more for a new home or for remodeling your home, consider the amount of money you will save on your utility bills.  In addition, possibly receiving tax rebates while being environmentally friendly makes it a wise decision to purchase energy efficient products.

Tax credits are now available at 30% of the cost, up to $1500 in 2009 and 2010 (for existing homes only) for windows and doors. Jan 1, 2009 - Dec. 31, 2010.
